But it does not do it all by itself. You need to have a web server that allows uploads by FTP which is, nowadays, a very easy thing to find - even for free. Two examples of free web hosting platforms that provide FTP accounts are AwardSpace.com and 000webhost.com. You also need to have a template. If you don't know HTML you can download one of the thousands free available templates in the World Wide Web. Just search Google for "free html templates" or "free css templates". After this, it is all set for you to configure your CushyCMS dashboard. Look at their brief designer documentation. It is so easy to use that it will take you no more than 10 minutes to figure out how it works. You can have multiple pages, upload images and all kinds of files, add friends, family or clients to edit the website and much more. Speaking of free templates!... Do you remember Bubbles, the one-column template I wrote a few days ago? I just adapted it to be used with CushyCMS. Just upload it to your server, configure it in your CushyCMS's dashboard and use it as you like. Check their User's FAQs to see how you can set things up. The demo you see below is powered by CushyCMS and was fully edited using this platform. I didn't touch a single line of HTML code. Demo: /demos/free-templates/cushycms/bubbles/ |
